PRE SITE VISIT CHECKLIST
To ensure we can provide an accurate design and quote, please review and prepare the following before our visit:
- Homeowners Association (HOA) - Confirm whether your HOA allows outdoor game courts. Ask about any size, fencing, lighting, or surface color restrictions.
- City & Local Ordinances - Verify local zoning rules related to accessory improvements or hardscapes. Check required setbacks from property lines, fences, and structures. Ask if game courts are treated as patios, hardscapes, or athletic facilities.
- Building Department / Permits - Contact your city’s building department to confirm whether a permit is required, if drainage, grading, or impervious surface limits apply, and any inspections needed for concrete or base work.
- Property Survey - Have a copy of your property survey available and clearly identify property lines, easements, and utility corridors.
- Utilities & Easements - Identify any underground utilities or easements on your property (we will still call for utility locates before construction).
- Drainage & Yard Conditions - Note any known drainage issues, low spots, or retaining walls and inform us of past grading or landscaping work.
- Neighbor Considerations - (recommended) Be aware of proximity to neighboring homes (noise, ball containment, lighting)
- Access to Yard - Confirm equipment access width (gates, side yards, fences, etc.)

Once the design and scope are finalized, we move forward with a signed contract and secure your project on the schedule. At this stage, materials are ordered and timelines are confirmed.
